Maria Swallow, the representative of the RTA advised the Committee that the
length of ‘No Stopping’ restrictions and pavement markings for the refuge island
need to be modified to comply with the Australian Standards AS 1742.10-2009
and relevant RTA supplements.
Recommendation from the

John Street, Granville are to be modified to comply with the Australian
Standards AS 1742.10-2009 and relevant RTA supplements.
2. The modified
plan for the refuge island in The Avenue south of John Street, Granville to be
referred to the RTA and the Police for endorsement and the approval to be obtained
through Parramatta Traffic Committee under Delegated Authority.
