following items for investigation and appropriate action.
1. Installation
of ‘Bus Zone’ restrictions on both sides of Hope Street between Wharf Road and
Hughes Avenue, Ermington to discourage illegal parking at bus stops.
2. Relocation
of a bus stop from outside Nos. 257-259 Pennant Hills Road to 267-269 Pennant
Hills Road, Carlingford.
3. Alteration of barrier lines in Kirby Street
at Kissing Point Road, Dundas to provide adequate area for buses to turn left
into Kirby Street. The STA
representative advised that there is a power pole located on the kerb and with
current linemarking at the signalised intersection; it is difficult for buses
to turn left into the street.
Recommendation from
the Traffic Engineering Advisory Group:
That the installation of ‘Bus Zone’
restrictions in Hope Street, Ermington be referred to the Parramatta Traffic
Committee under Delegated Authority for approval.
That the relocation of the bus stop
