plan showing suggested locations where the RTA can install additional 50 km/h
signs in

traffic calming does not meet the requirements for inclusion in the Road Safety
and Amenity List for consideration of funding as it does not show that
signatures have been collected from 50% of residences of the street
Comments
Ms Maria Swallow, the
representative of the RTA advised the Committee that it is possible to modify
the software of the signals so that there is a slight delay in the green phase
for motorists while pedestrians commence crossing the intersection.
