MINUTES OF THE ParraConnect Advisory COMMITTEE Workshop MEETING HELD IN MEETING Room Level 12 Boadroom, CIVIC PLACE, PARRAMATTA ON 20th June 2011, COMMENCING AT 1:05 PM.

 

PRESENT

 

Present:  Clr Lim (Chair), Clr Garrard, John Moxon, Frank Dorian, Alan Cadman, Greg Smith, Elios Alexoulis, Lisa Torrance, George Mavros.

1. Minutes of Previous Meeting: 

The minutes of the previous meeting on 16 April were accepted and actions updated.

 

 

2. Presentation and Discussion “Mobile Concierge”

The project partners ST Micro Electronics presented the details of the project including the technology and business models. A person will be placed in Parramatta as part of the project.  Clr Lim declared a potential future conflict of interest on this project. The committee were supportive of the project.

 

 

3.   Presentation of New ParraConnect Web site. (prototype)

Discussion took place on the framework and purpose of the website. Also discussion took place utilising the Social Media sites eg. Face book, Twitter, & UTube. The committee accepted the website template which now requires content.

 

 

4.   Review Draft Communications Plan

The draft communications plan was tabled for discussion and review. The revised Plan is attached with changes as discussed at the meeting.

 

 

5.   General Business:

 

Communications are now to attend all Parraconnect Advisory Board meetings with a media release to be distributed after each meeting.

 

 

Next Meetings:

Next meeting 18th July 2011 and thereafter the 03rd Monday of the month until 15August 2011
