1.	Acknowledgement of Country The City of Parramatta Council acknowledges the Burramattagal Clan of The Dharug, the traditional owners of land of Parramatta and pays its respects to the elders past, present and emerging.
2.	Apologies
Description	The Committee received and noted apologies from Lord Mayor Cr Donna Davis and Dr. Sarah Barns.
Outcome	Moved by Dr. Ian Oppermann and seconded by Meredith Hodgman, the motion put was CARRIED.
3.	Disclosure of Interests There were no disclosure of interest declared at this Advisory Committee meeting.
Note: Cr Phil Bradley joined the meeting via MS Teams at 5:38pm.
4.	Confirmation of Minutes
Description	The minutes of the Smart City Advisory Committee, held on 29 November 2022, was received and noted and confirmed as a true record of the proceeding of that meeting.
Outcome	Moved by Scott Thomson and seconded by Meredith Hodgman, the motion put was CARRIED.
5.	Smart Central River City Strategy
Description	Sandy Burgoyne, A/ Director, Smart Places Programs and Rory Brown, Executive Director Smart Places provided a presentation to the Committee on Smart Central River City Strategy.
Note: Peter Runcie joined the meeting in person at 5:50pm.
Outcome	The Committee recommended that Council should write to other members of the Smart Central River City to encourage them to  sign the Smart Places Customer Charter and encourage each Council to make the same commitment by also signing up to the Charter.
6.	Smart City Strategy – Action Planning
Description	Matt Austin, Strategy Manager ran a workshop on the Smart City and Innovation Strategy.
Outcome	The Committee provided feedback on the proposed priorities on Data Leadership and Smart Places priorities.
Note: Cr Bradley retired from the meeting at 7:01pm.
7.	Projects Update
Description	The Committee received an update on on-going projects.
Outcome	The Committee noted the update.
8.	Parramatta Square Customer Experience Project
Description	The Committee received an update on the project
Outcome	The Committee noted the update.
9.	Smart Places Acceleration Program
Description	The Committee received an update on the Smart Places Acceleration Program EOI’s submitted
Outcome	The Committee provided several contacts to seek partnership from State Government Agencies.
10.	General Business
Description	Next scheduled meeting is 20 April 2023.
